The materials we used added new forms and sounds to the dancers' bodies. It had those characteristics and qualities that transformed them into non-human beings who acted differently onstage.
Besides, we worked with darkness and movement, trying to observe the relationship between the mind and the sense out of vision. Is it possible to move to the darkness to discover the colors again?
In the last pictures, our group of three, Mariko Miyata Jancey, Ida-Marie Højris, and me, were inspired by the vampire squid, which lives in the deep oceans with millions of other species, some of which are little known, and which little study has been done. Therefore, a costume was created so that the audience could hardly recognise the performer's body, with forms that changed its characteristics and with only a distant little blue light.
